Description

The Nature Trail of Jāņupītes streamis a relaxing, 1.1 km long walking route, in a forest with several stairs and bridges. In spring, everything in the valleys and hills of the trail is ablaze with the first spring flowers. While walking along the trail, you can see a variety of plants, mosses, lichens and insects, large trees, trees of impressive age knocked down in a storm, as well as the steep bank of the Jāņupīte. The stands located along the trail provide information about natural phenomena, living creatures and places to visit on the trail, which makes the walk even more exciting and informative. The steep stairs, viewing platform and footbridge over the Jāņupīte make the trail an interesting adventure for everyone.
