Natural meadows in Latvia are real treasure chests. Their nature diversity can compete even with tropical forests as in 1 m2 meadow can grow more than 50 different species of plants. Meadows attracts and captivates both people that own country houses and hiking enthusiasts with their vibrant colours revealing with first warm rays of the sun and amazing scents when in full bloom. Meadow flowering starts with first warm days and finishes with first big frost.
Currently there are already 3 glides in Mālkalns where right farming can help these natural meadows bloom ever more beautiful. There you can find common or red clovers, marguerites, and white bedstraws. In the second half of summer blooms common yarrow and wild carrot as well as common chicory and common sorrel.
