Description

The foundation stone of gymnasiumwas laid in autumn of year 1927 and the famous Latvian poet Rainis participated in this event. In 1938, it was written in the newspaper “Brīvā Zeme” (the Free Land): The new school – the largest building in town – now proudly stands on the highest hill of Tukums. A broad view opens up in all directions, and, whoever knows the number of those, who will start exploring the horizons from the windows of this school.”
