Description

The former Social Community Centrewas established in year 1902. At that time, it was one of the most luxurious and modern buildings in the town. The building acquired its name as it was because the statutes of its builder – the Tukums Association of Latvians – were approved by the Russian Tsarist government only subject to a condition that its name does not include the word “Latvian”.
