Description

During the 2024 Tukums City Festival, the environmental art object "Mr. TUKUMS" was opened - the largest mirror environmental installation in the Baltics.It is made of material that covers an area of ​​more than 226 m2, using a total of 96 mirror aluminum composite panels.

This environmental object, which Tukum residents call a House of Mirrors, leaves no one indifferent.Motivating and inspiring quotes can be seen on it, as well as a list of the most important values, which indicate that this Mr. TUKUMS is us, because we only create our city and county together.

On the corner of the object is depicted the graphic image "Mr. TUKUMS" created by the artist Ilze Cērpiņa, which describes Tukums with the help of various symbols - the identity of our city and county: city of roses, city of gardens, city of art and literature, creative city.

The name of Tukums and the town itself have always been evolving, but it has always been a place where people come together to exchange ideas and get inspired. The extraordinary KUNGS TUKUMS in the very heart of the town will offer to meet today and to mirror us all.
